Fred made it safely to Germany to begin a two-week stay that will include dates with his Generations Trio, a funk workshop in Paris, and a run with his New JBs. The New Orleans funk community gave Fred more than just proverbial flowers at last weekend's Nola Funk Fest. Getting the chance to play with so many excellent musicians made it a truly funky good time that warmed his heart and his horn for his upcoming period of European touring.
