Looking toward Paris, Zurich, Amsterdam and more

Fred loaded with his New JBs into a Ford Transit van and hit four City Wineries and Charlotte's hot Middle C Jazz Club this month. Along the way he entertained two of James Brown's daughters in Atlanta, reunited with trombonist friends in Charlotte, styled in St. Louis and met with a Middle Tennessee State University class in Nashville. He also funked up Chicago.

Up next: a return to Europe for seven New JBs dates followed by two weeks with his Generations Trio for a spot of organ jazz.
