Fred flew from France to San Francisco, where he'll
start five shows with the band
Object Heavy after he and his fellow yoemen of funk,
the New JBs, spent 33 days spreading the finest in funk all o'er Italy, France, Croatia and the UK.
Many thanks to the many fans and worker bees who made it such a spectacularly fun and funky good time in Europe. Highlights included
a Venezia Jazz Festival show that was almost rained out,
Pee Wee Ellis sitting in in London, Fred's grandson Cole and daughter Lya visiting in France, and crossing paths with
Maceo Parker in
Marciac, France.
Click here for video from Noale, Italy (thank you Enrico Miglioranzi), and enjoy these family photos.
