Socially distanced, but still standing for justice

Unable to personally take to the streets, Fred is doing his part to help generate funds for the people who are. From here forward, half the proceeds from website sales of the limited edition vinyl recording of his first Little Big Beat Live Session will be donated to Black Lives Matter. Click here to buy the vinyl at the special discounted price of $40 each.
Also, Fred’s composition “Together We  Stand,” the title track of the latest album from the band Abraham Incorporated, is one of five tracks being offered to support two organizations working to protect those fighting for justice in the United States.

For the entire month of June, 100 percent of the proceeds from purchases of the five tracks on Bandcamp will be donated to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund & the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union).
In January 2017, outraged by the White House’s Muslim ban, Abraham Inc (which Fred co-leads with  klezmer star David Krakauer and hip-hop renegade Socalled), was inspired to create the album “Together We Stand” to express outrage over the worldwide rise of xenophobia and to put forward a message of justice, tolerance and peaceful cooperation among all people.

At this moment in history, that message  is more important than ever. Fred and all of Abraham Inc stand in solidarity with people around the world who are protesting peacefully for social justice and an end to systemic racism. People are literally putting their bodies and lives on the line to speak up for what’s right.
