Fred had a great time visiting with old friends and family during his weekend appearance at Atlanta's
Studio 281 on Peters Street. A stylish and cozy traditional jazz club "for the jazz purist," the spot gave Fred a unique opportunity to revisit his own jazz purist roots. After signing
books and chatting with friends and fans on Friday, he spent the whole evening Saturday playing straight-ahead jazz with the HC3 Trio.
Thanks to everyone who came out; special thanks to Studio 281, the trio and all the guest players who sat in.
