Before leaving the United States, Fred flashed back to his days in the 55th Army Band, 1964-67, at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. He visited Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia, for a featured performance during the Army Band's annual American Trombone Workshop. Many thanks to trombonist Victor Barranco and all the band members and others who made it such a fun night.
